TAL's Health Sense Plus Now Covers Income Protection Policies

TAL's Health Sense Plus Now Covers Income Protection Policies

In a significant development for policyholders, TAL has expanded its Health Sense Plus program to encompass income protection (IP) policies.
This initiative, effective from August 8, 2025, aims to incentivize proactive health management by offering premium discounts to clients who engage in preventive health checks.

Since its launch in 2019, Health Sense Plus has rewarded over 20,000 customers for participating in preventive health measures. The program's extension to IP policies reflects TAL's commitment to promoting long-term health outcomes and making life insurance more affordable for Australians.

Under the expanded program, new IP clients can access Health Sense Plus and receive premium discounts by completing simple preventive tests. These tests play a vital role in detecting and even preventing serious diseases like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.

Later this year, TAL plans to invite eligible existing IP clients, whose policies commenced on or after September 24, 2021, to participate in Health Sense Plus. This move aims to help more Australians save on their premiums and become better informed about their health.

For policyholders, engaging in preventive health measures not only contributes to personal well-being but also offers financial benefits through reduced insurance premiums. It's advisable for individuals to consult with their insurance advisors to understand the specific requirements and benefits associated with the Health Sense Plus program.
